We're excited to announce significant improvements to the Insights interface, making it more powerful and user-friendly than ever before!
We've added a new Insights button to specific input fields in reconciliation templates. This powerful feature lets you instantly compare specific properties across all the files you are following. The Insights button appears when you focus on an applicable field and becomes more visible on hover, keeping your template clean and intuitive.
How it works:
Click the Insights icon next to an applicable input field to open a new query
You’ll be redirected to Insights in a new tab
The Insights page shows all your followed client files with the selected reconciliation data filter applied
Note that calculations and totals are not yet included in this change. They can still be queried manually with the “Reconciliation data” filter.
Previously, when columns were added, their position was fixed. Now you can organize your table layout exactly how you want it. Each column has a settings dropdown menu that lets you move columns left or right to create your optimal view.
Each client file has its own checkbox for individual selection, plus a master checkbox in the header to quickly select or deselect all files at once.
We've streamlined the action buttons into a single, powerful "Actions" dropdown menu. Actions are filtered according to user permissions, distinguishing between admin and non-admin access. Currently, all users can download files as Excel, with more exciting actions coming soon. These improvements streamline data analysis, enhance table customisation, and simplify bulk operations. We're continuously working on new features to make your Insights experience better.
